Swiss, No. 16274. Produced in the 1850s. Fine, hunting-cased, key-set and key-wound, quarter-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, polished, engine-turned case band, gold hinged cuvette with peripheral engine turning. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "cathédrale" hands. M. 19''', frosted gilt, lépine bridge caliber, 32 jewels, lateral line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance-spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.Case numbered. Diam. 51 mm.
