Swiss, finished and cased in England, hallmarked 1887-88. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless, two train, astronomical, Grande et Petite Sonnerie, clockwatch with perpetual calendar, phases of the moon, minute-repeat and 36-hour power reserve indicator.

C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. Off-white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four-year leap cycle concentric with up-and-down indicator, and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases and age of the moon aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 43 mm (19'''), 3/4-plate gilt brass, "spot" decoration, 21 jewels, diamond end-stone, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance-spring, repeating on gongs via trip in the band.Case stamped JW.Diam. 58 mm.
