Longines "Chronostop", No. 7255451, case No. 23473, Ref. NAV. 71. Produced for the R.A.F. in 1943. Fine and rare, oversized, stainless steel military wristwatch with "retour en vol" single button inderect center-seconds chronograph and register.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, case back bearing the initials: NAV 71, graduated revolving bezel, curved lugs, large ball-shaped winding-crown to allow the pilot to wind the watch with his gloves on. D. Black with radium-coated Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, outermost 1/5th second scale and 60 minute-register graduation. Radium-coated "Skeleton" hands, red for the register. M. Cal. 12.68Z (produced since 1939), rhodium plated, 18 jewels, bronze beryllium straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 47 mm.
