"Tableau à Musique" French, circa 1860. Fine eight day going, hour and half hour striking musical clock painting, with echo on the hour, and vespers at 5 o'clock, the music playing every hour or on demand.

C. Gilt wood framed oil on canvas, featuring a village, pond, hills at the background, church in the foreground with clock. D. Whiteenamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel hands. M. Circular, brass with going barrels both for the going and thestriking trains, anchor escapement, pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on gong with count wheel on the back plate. Additionalbrass movement for the carillon with echo, cylinder musical movement with four tunes.Dim. 73 x 85 cm.
