Notes

Between 1942 and 1945 Daini Seikosha was commissioned by the Japanese Navy to produce marine chronometers. About 500 were made. Mean time error was less than 0.1 sec/day. The back of the dial was scratched by the watchmakers cleaning the timekeeper, with an interesting account of its history.
