The Blue Tulip Geneva, circa 1810. Very fine and amusing 18K gold and enamel, set with pearls, concealed dial form watch in the shape of a tulip.
C. The six spring-loaded petals finely painted in translucent dark blueenamel over flinqué with yellow touches, pressing gold leaf fixed to the stemopens the petals revealing the dial, translucent dark blue and red rosettebase, closing by pulling on the second leaf mounted to the stem. D. Whiteenamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions with 15 minute Arabicnumerals. Gold Breguet hands. M. 18 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylin-dricalpillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass bal-ance,continental cock.Dim. Length 120 mm.
