?Lépine a Paris?, Swiss, circa 1820. Very fine 18K gold quarter-repeating skeleton watch with automaton Jacks, and visible repeating works.

C. Three-body, ?Directoire?, engine-turned, spring-loaded gilded glazed cuvette. D. White enamel ring with Breguet hour numerals and outer minute divisions, glazed center disclosing varicolored gold rampant lion and a monkey on blued steel ground, striking the hours and quarters on scythe and triangle held by Father Time. Blued steel pierced ?trefoil? hands. M. Gilt brass, skeletonized full plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, virgule escapement with steel escape wheel, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Polished steel pierced balance bridge, bright steel repeat work on the back plate, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant.Signed on the dial.Diam. 62 mm.
