F.P. Journe, "Invenit et Fecit", "Octa Chronograph", No. 32/99-02C. Produced in a limited edition of 99 examples in 2002. Very fine and rare, self-winding, platinum gentleman's chronometer wristwatch with round button fly-back and return-to-zero chronograph, register, oversized date and a platinum F. P. Journe buckle. Accompanied by a fitted ebony box, certificate, magnifying loupe, tool and an 18K white gold F. P. Journe deployant clasp.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave lugs, transparent case back with 6 screws, sapphire crystals. D. Ruthenium, off-center "guilloché" with painted radial Arabic numerals, subsidiary "guilloché" dials for the seconds and the 60-minute register, aperture for the double disc date. Blued steel ?Journe"-style hands. M. Cal. 1300, ruthenium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 22 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic four-arm balance with four timing weights adjusted to five positions, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance-spring, off-center bi-directional 22K "guilloché" gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Movement also engraved "Exclusive Power Reserve System" and "Precision Chronometer".Diam. 40 mm.
