Rectangular with canted corners, the top and sides carved with scenes of ancient Egyptian monuments, raisedon stylised bust feet, hinged singing bird cover set with an oval ivory plaque carved with a view of the pyramidsat Giza. M. Rectangular, brass, large spring barrel with cams around the circumference geared to a fly and saw-toothedrack operating the feathered singing bird with moving beak, wings and tail.Dim. 160 x 112 x 68 mm.
