Three-body, "Empire", hinged pearl set bezel, the band decorated with white, blue and gold champleve enamel,glazed hinged back with pearl border, finely painted Geneva enamel and engraved gold alpine scene of cattle andgoats watering in a mountain stream, engraved gold windmill and fir tree with white champleve enamel detail,the windmill with rotating sails. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic quarterhour markers. Pierced tipped-hands. M. 40 mm., frosted gilt with flared turned pillars, fusee and chain, vergeescapement, the upper pivot of the contrate wheel extended through the back of the case to power the windmillsails, pierced and chased continental balance cock.Dial and movement signed.Diam. 47 mm.
