?Blue Bouquet? Barrauds, Cornhill, London, No. 9102, made for the Chinese market, circa 1815. Very rare and fine large 18K gold painted on enamel, pearl-set watch.

Three-body, "Empire" with fixed cuvette, reedd band, splitpearl-set bezels pendant and bow, the back painted on enamelwith a fine bouquet of summer flowers against translucent blue enamel overzig-zag engine-turning, the border decorated in champlevé enamel. Spring-loaded back opened by a push-piecein the pendant. D. Off-white enamel with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade and poker"hands. M. 51 mm (23'''), hinged, full-plate, gilt, going barrel, cylindrical pillars, cylinder escapement, brass four-armbalance, the balance and the steel escape wheel jeweled, both with ruby end-stones, flat balance spring withJoseph Bosley patented regulator, gilded cock pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage. Gilded dust-cap finelyengraved with scrolling foliage.Signed on the back plate and numbered on the dial.Diam. 62 mm.
