C. Four-body, 'Empire', enameled band, spring-loaded back painted on enamel with a courting couple in a formalgarden blue enamel background, bezels set with half pearls, gold hinged cuvette. D. Small translucent blue enamelover engine-turning, radial gold paillon radial Roman numerals separated by gold outer gold paillon minute divi-sions,subsidiary seconds, flanked by painted on enamel figures of Chronos and cherubs repeating hours andquarters on bells, the whole on blued steel plate. Gold ?cathedral? hands. M. 39 mm (17???), frosted gilt, 3/4 plate12 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, repeatingon gongs via activating slide in the band.Cuvette signed and inscribed with erroneous technical details.Diam. 52 mm.
