?The Spinning Wheel? Swiss, No. 6150, circa 1820. Very fine and rare, gold quarter-repeating pocket watch with automaton and striking Jacks.
C. Three-body, "Empire", engine turned back, band and bezel, slide to block the repeat, spring loaded gilt metalcuvette. D. White enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, glazed center enclosing achased gold automaton of a lady at the spinning wheel within a curtained opening, two vari-colored cherubsabove appearing to strike the hours and quarters on two bells, blued steel ground. Blued steel Breguet hands.M. 52 mm., frosted gilt, full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-armbalance with flat balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, repeating on two gongs bydepressing the pendant.Diam. 56 mm.
