Notes

David Gide (L.) worked in the Cornavin area of Geneva in the first part of the 19th Century. A very fine maker of repeating, automaton and fantasy watches often using virgule, ruby cylinder and duplex escapements. ?Dictionnaire des horlogers genevois? by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Antiquorum Editions, 1998.
