Ilbery, London, No. 2239, circa 1830. Made for the Chinese market. Very fine and unusual 18K gold and painted on enamel, center-seconds watch with duplex escapement.

Two-body, the fixed bezel, pendant and bow with champlevé enameled decoration, the back with a finelypainted alpine landscape with a river and a village in the foreground and mountains below, a blue sky in the back-ground.Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a floral decoration. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals.Gold ?spoon? hands.
