H. R. Ekegrén, Geneva, No. 77969, made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1910. Very fine and rare 18K pink gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split-seconds chronograph and 60- minute instantaneous recorder.
C. Four-body, massive, "bassine", polished, back with monogram ?HMJ?. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamelwith Radial Arabic numerals, minute track, outermost chronograph ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and 60-minuteregister. Gold ?Louis? hands. M. 33 mm (16.5???), maillechort, 3/4 plate, 36 jewels, straight line lever escapement,cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, Reeds? micrometer regulator. Repeating on gongs via slide in theband, chronograph and split-seconds on the back plate with pushers in the winding crown and in the band.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 49 mm.
