Jules Jürgensen, Co-penhagen, No. 13919, made in Switzerland for the North American market, circa 1870. Very fine and rare 18K gold minute-repeating, heavy, open hunt-ing- cased, keyless chronograph pocket watch with Jürgensen's patent hand setting mechanism.

Notes

The hands of this watch can be set by swiveling the bow into a downward position; this clever feature eliminates the need for a hand-setting button or lever.
