Jules Jürgensen, Co-penhagen, No. 13919, made in Switzerland for the North American market, circa 1870. Very fine and rare 18K gold minute-repeating, heavy, open hunt-ing- cased, keyless chronograph pocket watch with Jürgensen's patent hand setting mechanism.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, the back cover with engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette withengine turned border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outer chronographtrack divided into fifths, Arabic five second divisions, subsidiary seconds.
