Jean Peuch, Ecole d'Horlogerie d'Anet (E & L). Made in 1926. Fine model of a duplex escapement with Guillaume "integral" type balance. Circular brass base plate, duplex escape-wheel, cut nickel, steel and brass bimetallic Guillaume "integral" balance with single arm, four cylindrical nickel compensation weights and two brass timing nuts, blued steel helical balance spring, supported by a foliate bridge on two turned pillars secured by steel screws, circular wooden base containing a spring going barrel, associated glass dome. Signed on an applied plaque. Diam. 15.5 cm.
