Swiss, late 19th century. Fine and rare large brass and steel clock wheel-cutting machine. Dividing plate set for: 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 6, 9, blank reverse, direct locking arm with a thumb loop and screw adjustment, brass frame raised on steel feet, the work held between two adjustable centres on a steel post, vertical and horizontal slide adjustments, the horizontally adjustable bed with crank handle, driven by a large wheel with turned wooden handle driving the wooden pulley via a further brass pulley.
