Gerald Genta, Ref. 2840.7. Made in the 1980s. Very fine, octagonal, astronomic, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases and an 18K yellow gold Gerald Genta buckle.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, "Vendôme" type lugs, cabochon sapphire-set winding-crown, pusheron the band for quick change of the dates. D. Black with painted Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the daysof the month, of the week, the months, apertures for the moon phases and the leap year. Yellow gold "bâton"hands. M. Cal. 3390, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 33 jewels, straight line lever escapement,monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometerregulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness: 9 mm.
