C. Three body, massive, "pomme et gouge " with gold bow, the small glazed alarm setting aperture for minutes adjustment on the revolving bezel with gold border, the back chased in high relief with a locust and outer floral decoration. Hinged silver engineturned cuvette, pierced for the sound, inset on the reverse with a thin blued steel panel increasing the sound transmitted by a pin, in the manner of a gramophone. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, red half hour divisions and outer minute ring visible through the bezel aperture only. Blued steel "spade " hands. M. 17 "' , gilt brass three-quarter plate, double train with differential winding, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Alarm simulating the typical sound of the locust. Diam. 48 mm.
