Notes

The Fast/Slow indication on the regulator index are written in Cyrillic. Watches decorated with the Imperial Eagle, were usually bought by the Tsars to be presented to servants, soldiers, visitors or i mportant personalities, in recognition of loyalty to the Empire. Therefore a wide range of watches by Paul Buhre, from inexpensive silver cased plain watches, to pocket chronometers, were bought for this purpose. Silver hunting cased watches were usually presented to servants.
