Double body, Louis XV, the bezel with foliage painted decoration over azure enamel ground, the back decorated en suite and centred with a painted scene depicting a courting couple in a park and further rocaille engraved decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged, gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain still three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass Louis XV continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Apocryphal signature on the back plate. Diam. 43 mm.
