C. Double body Directoire with split-pearl set bezels, the back enamel back panel, painted with a scene depicting a young couple paying tribute to a splitpearl inlaid altar of Venus. Matching chatelaine with three split-pearl framed enamelled panels, decorated en suite. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals. Gold pierced hands. M. Hinged gilt brass, flat Hessen calibre, the back plate indented for the going barrel of which the cover is engraved with a rosette, cylinder escapement, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial. Diam. 54 mm.
