Meuron & Comp., circa 1810, the enamel attributable to Jean-Francois-Victor Dupont. Fine 18K gold and enamel quarter repeating skeleton watch, the back fitted with a contemporary enamel panel, in original leather cover fitted protecting case.
C. Double body, Directoire with flat pendant and florally engraved band, the back fitted with an enamel panel painted with a scene depicting two maidens and a child playing with a bird. Hinged, glazed gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Gilt brass, fully skeletonised with going barrel, gold wheel train, the bridges engraved with flowers and foliage, virgule escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and polished steel cock. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant, the polished steel repeating work on the back plate. Signed on the dial and movement. Diam. 56 mm.
