C. Double body, Directoire, polished. D. Enamel small eccentric with numerals, flanked by two figures of maidens in classical dresses. Glazed aperture above the dial with the serpent revolving around a small painted scene featuring Adam and Eve. Gold hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with diamond end-stone. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 58 mm.
