Swiss, made for the Islamic Market, circa 1880. Fine and unusual, 18K pink gold, keyless quarter repeating watch with automaton Jacks.

C. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets", the back with two blank escutcheon and further foliage decoration. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details, musical trophies and further foliage decoration. D. Silver with Turkish numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and gold cast decoration, centred with two automaton cherubs, striking hours and quarters on two bells. Gold paste-set hands. M. Glazed, 19 "' , nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Diam. 54 mm.
