J. Auricoste a Paris, No. 782105, made for the French Ministere de la Guerre, circa 1940. Fine stainless steel keyless watch with chronograph and instantaneous 30 minute register in original fitted box from the same series.
C. Three body, massive "bassine", polished, the back engraved with the Military Service Number. Hinged steel cuvette. D. White enamel with bold Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued steel "feuilles " hands. M. 19" ', nickel plated, "fausses cotes " decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating Breguet balance spring. Chronograph with visible work with button on the winding crown. Signed on the dial. Diam. 49 mm.
