Notes

The career of the single button chronograph from Lemania in various Army Forces has been long and glorious. In the 1960 ' s, with some modifications, this chronograph was also adopted by the Royal Swedish Air Force, beside the Royal Swedish Navy. The back of the watch bears the engraving of the three symbolic Swedish royal crowns. The modification requested by the Swedish Army was the return to zero function of the chronograph for the accuracy-setting of this watch without registers, very similar to a chronostop. This function was possible by pressing the pusher on the 2 and at the same time by pulling the winding-crown: thus the centre hand would return to zero. Once the precise time was registered, the chronograph could start again by pressing the winding-crown. This watch is different from the former Lemania, for its case is slightly heavier and the pusher and crown are housed into the band. The dial is also different, without registers and with an inner white minute graduation.
