Made in France for London & Ryder, London, Paris, No. 1876, circa 1890. Fine and unusual, gilt brass, eight day going "mignonette" carriage clock with cloisonne enamelled decoration.

C. Gilt brass "Anglaise " , glazed four faces and top, with azure, blue, pink and purple cloisonne enamelled foliage decoration. D. Silvered with Roman numerals and split-pearl set border. Blued steel "fuseaux " hands. Dial plate decoration matching that of the case. M. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial. Dim. 60 x 43 x 39 mm., excluding the handle.
