Three piece, massive, polished with sapphire-set band and bow, the cover with a glazed small dial aperture disclosed by polished gold shutters" , flipping open or closed by depressing a button on the band. D. Matted silver with Arabic numerals. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. 17 "' , rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18, jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Trade Mark on the case, signed by the retailer on the dial. Diam. 46 mm.

This is an early example of a model first made for Cartier and very popular in the 1920's. Guillotine is the term used in the manufacturing records of Cartier to describe this type of watch.
