Concord Watch Co., Bienne, Swiss, made for Grant A. Peacock, New York, circa 1949. Fine and unusual 14K gold and diamond set purse watch designed as an envelope.

C. Four body, massive rectangular, designed as an envelope, polished, the front applied with the diamond-set date: Xmas 49, the back engraved with a dedication, a photographic portrait of a mother with her daughter on the reverse of the hinged movement. D. Frosted silver with gold applied indexes. Gold "batonss" hands. M. Rectangular 8 " , nickel plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement and by the retailer on the dial. Dim. 43 x 31 mm.
