C. Four body, fully decorated with a fine white and azure floral and foliage engraved decoration over a black champleve enamelled ground. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring and sunk subsidiary seconds, the centre with engraved astronomical and musical trophies, garlands and rosette. Gold "spade" hands. M. 21"', gilt brass, bar calibre with free standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and cuvette. Diam. 53 mm.
