C. Double body, engine-turned, the back with bayonet fixing. D. Silver engine-turned, with Roman numerals on a small chapter ring en reserve and small Fast/Slow regulator aperture. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 16"', gilt brass, bar calibre, the going barrel with female winding square, cylinder escapement, plain blued steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial. Diam. 40 mm.

Notes

An arbre perce, was the term used by Breguet for the slim movements, the going barrel with female winding square. This watch is very si milar to those of the same type, produced by Breguet at the same period. The back of the dial is scratched with mention of a restoration performed in August 1848.
