C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets ",engineturned and engraved with scrolling foliage, the cover centred with a rose-cut diamond inlaid rosette. Hinged gold cuvette, polished. D. White enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, the centre with polychrome enamel painted automaton blacksmiths, forging on the anvil. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Diam. 56 mm.
