E. Jaccard & Co., Saint Louis Mo., Swiss, circa 1880. Very fine 18K pink gold, keyless minute repeating Grande and Petite Sonnerie clock watch.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets ", polished; a view of the Missouri at Saint Louis engraved inside the cover; a countryside landscape engraved inside the back. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1881. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold paste-set hands. M. nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, double train with differential winding, 42 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Grande and Peaile sonnerie, minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial. Diam. 55 mm
