Courvoisier Jonais, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 20015, circa 1875. Fine 18K gold hunting cased, double face calendar keyless watch. Patented No. 122, from June 27, 1871.

C. Five body, massive, "bassine et filets" , engineturned with seeded band. D. White enamel on the front with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade " hands. White enamel on the rear face, the dates on the border with subsidiary dials for the months and the days of the week, half moon sector above for the Slow/Fast index. M. 18"' nickel plated, 17 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Nickel plated calendar work driven by the movement. Signed on both dials and movement. Courvoisier coat-of-arms punched on the movement and on the calendar plate. Diam. 54 mm.
