Louis Elisee Piguet, No. 2869, case No. 46292, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1905, the enamel painted by Louis Rosselet. Rare and very fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set, centre seconds minute repeating, Grande Sonnerie clock watch.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets" with split pearl set bezels, the band with champleve decoration over a green flinque enamel ground, the back enamel panels painted by Louis Rosselet, with a very fine seaside landscapes. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds ring. Gold rubyset "fleurs-de-lys " hands. M. 20 - , gilt brass, double train with going barrels wound separatly, 31 jewels partly in screwed settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating on two gongs with two hammers, push piece in the band, strike/silent optional lever beneath the bezels. Signed on the front plate beneath the dial. Diam. 55 mm.
