Francois Nicole, Geneva, circa 1810. Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel, diamond-set harp with music.

C. Finely painted musical trophies on the back of the enamelled main sound chest, blue flinque enamelled side panels with white enamel border and centred with finely chased quivers within navettes frames, engraved and enamel main post, capped by pearl set decoration, with wire-wound gold strings and diamond set end caps. Musical movement: Gilt brass, concealed in the sound chest, playing at will with pin barrel and seven stacked steel tuned teeth. Signature scratched inside the case. Dim. 74 x 44 mm.
