Paul Gamier, Horloger, 6 & 16 rue Taitbout, Paris, No. 6802, made for the Paris - Lyon - Mediterranee, railway company, circa 1860. Very fine silver hunting cased decimal Tachometer No. 41, Systeme E. Marie, with decimal minute recorter.

C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes ", polished, the back engraved: "P. L. M. No. 41", the tachometer table engraved inside the cover calculated for one kilometer. Hinged silver cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals and 10 x 10 divisions. Blued steel hands. M. 22 "' silvered brass, 2/3 plate with going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Tachometer bolt and reset slide in the band. Signed on the dial and cuvette. Diam. 58 mm.
