Antoine Schilling, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss, No. 1914, circa 1875. Fine and very unusual silver dual-time centre-seconds watch with decorated dial and double movement.

C. Three body, massive, "bassine et filets", the back engraved with a blank escutcheon and foliage decoration. Hinged silver cuvette with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with painted floral decoration, centre-seconds and two small symmetrical dials for two time zones, the first with Roman numerals for hours from "I to XII", the second one with Arabic numerals from "13 to 24. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 24"', gilt brass, inset with a white enamel cartouche painted with a red cross, half plate calibre, the two complete trains with going barrels, 25 jewels, the first one, driving centre-seconds, with cylinder escapement, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator, the second one with counterpoised straight line lever escapement, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator.
