Notes

The trademark found on the watch was registered by Braillard in 1897. A year before they won a Gold Medal at the Swiss National Exhibition of Horology in Geneva. They specialized in high quality watches, fantasy ball watches. In about 1910 they advertised making watches decorated with enamel in high relief. The company is also known to sell watches with Observatory Timing Certificates. Literature: Swiss Timepiece Makers, Kathleen H. Pritchard, West Kennebunk, 1997.
