"Jump-Hour" Alliez, Bachelard & Terond fils, Geneva, No. 56958. Made circa 1830. Very fine, 18K gold and enamel dress watch with jump hours and regulator minutes dial.

Four-body, "demi-bassine", the front cover divided into 18 lobes, each decorated with a floral motif in white enamel on a blackground, a white enamel rosette in the center, the back cover with gold foliage pattern on a black enamel ground with cartouches ofwhite enamel flowers and flower vases, the band engraved in repeated pattern, matching pendant and bow. D. Silver, Arabic hournumerals, eccentric minute dial with baton and Arabic markers, subsidiary dial for the seconds, "guilloché" center. Blued steel hands.M. 38 mm, gilt, bar caliber, cylinder escapement, three-arm, plain brass balance, flat blued steel balance spring.Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 48,4 mm.
