"Secondes Foudroyantes" F. Guédin, Geneva, No. 11262. Made circa 1870. Very fine and rare 18K gold, hunting-cased pocket watch with double-train independent split seconds chronograph and 1/4 second diablotine.

White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost seconds divided into quarters,subsidiary quarter-second jump diablotine. Blued-steel "Breguet" hands. M. 20''', nickel, 30 jewels, straight linelever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance-spring, tandem winding, Heart plate onthe back plate, chronograph function locked when cover is closed.Dial, cuvette and movement signed.Diam. 50 mm.
