Charles Oudin, made for F. de P. ALVAREZ, circa 1890. Fine 18K pink gold half hunting cased, double face, keyless watch with double calendar.

C. Four body, massive "bassine et filets" with champleve enamelled Roman numerals on the dial aperture border, the back with a blue, white and red champleve enamelled monogram on the back. D. White enamel on the front with the owner ' s name letters in place of hour numerals, red outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. White enamel chapter ring on the back with days of the week and outer date ring on border of the bezel. Gold and blued steel hands. M. 19"' nickel plated, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Signed on the dial. Diam. 52 mm.
