Juvet, Fleurier, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1860. Fine pair of silver centre second watches in original red leather fitted box with a spare glass.

C. Both three body, "Chinese " with fixed bezel, polished. Hinged glazed silver cuvettes. D. White enamel, with Roman numerals and outer minutes and seconds ring. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Identical gilt brass, Chinese calibres with free standing barrels fully engraved with scrolled foliage and further decoration, lateral lever escapements, bimetallic balances with screws, flat balance springs and regulators. Both signed in Chinese on dial, case and movement Diam. 55 mm. each.
