Bovet, Fleurier, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1900. Very fine silver and enamel, pearl-set centre second watch.

C. Double body with split-pearl set bezels, the back blue flinque enamel panel painted with a maiden portrait. Hinged gilt glazed cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Gilt brass fully engraved with a floral decoration, "Chinese" calibre with free standing barrel, lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance with screws, flat balance spring and regulator. Signed in Chinese both on the dial and movement. Diam. 55 mm.
