Jacques Coulin & Amy Bry, Geneve, No. 9890, circa 1790. Fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set quarter repeating watch, in a glazed protecting case.

C. Double body, Louis XVI with split-pearl set bezels, the back enamel panel painted with a scene depicting a young couple in classic dress, in front of the altar of Love. Outer gilt brass, glazed protecting case. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gilt brass later "Louis XV " hands. M. Hinged gilt brass inverted one quarter plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Repeating by depressing the pendant on two bells included in the movement. Signed on the movement. Diam. 58 mm.
