H. W. Bernstein & Co., Bombay & Paris, No. 49193, Swiss, made for the Indian Market, circa 1900. Very fine 18K gold and enamel hunting cased, gemset, keyless minute repeating Petite Sonnerie striking, clock-watch with carillon on three gongs.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets", the band engraved with a formal decoration, cover and back profusely decorated in opaque white champleve enamel and diamond, ruby and emerald inlaid, green and scarlet flinque enamel floral and foliage ornaments, in an Oriental pattern. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Glazed 19" ' , gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 39 jewels, partly in screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking hours and quarters on three gongs with three hammers, strike/silence optional lever by the bezel. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 56 mm.
